Revision of the genus Willistoniella Mik, 1895 (Diptera, Ropalomeridae) of the Neotropical Region

Abstract

The genus Willistoniella and the type-species W. pleuropunctata (Wiedemann, 1824), are redescribed. Three new species, W. latiforceps sp. nov., W. spatulata sp. nov. and W. ulyssesi sp. nov., are described from Brazil (Amazonas). The four species are illustrated and keyed.
