Resumo
Gamidactylus hopliussp, n. foi coletada nas fossas nasais de Hoplias maiabaricus.A nova espécie é semelhante a Gamidactylus jaraquensise a Gamidactylus bryconis,por possuir antena com uma garra terminal e um espinho móvel subterminal no terceiro segmento, além de um par de fortes retroestiletes laterais móveis, no primeiro somito toracico. Difere das duas espécies conhecidas na forma e posição dos retroestiletes e na ornamentação das pernas.
Abstract:
Gamidactylus hopliussp. n. was collected from nasal fossae of Hoplias maiabaricus.The new species resembles Gamidactylus jaraquensisand Gamidactylus bryconisin having antennae with moveable spine distally on the third segment and terminal claw, and a pair of strong moveable lateral retrostylets on the first thoracic somite. The new species can be distinguished from its two congeners by the shape and position of the retrostylets and by the armature of the legs.
