| Abstract: | The geographic distribution of the geme Cynometra L. as documented in 10 Herbaria and completed with bibliographic Information shows the principal occurrence of the genus to tropical rain forest except C. bauhiniifolia Bentham var. meridiana Dwyer, that has their limits at Argentina and Chile. The large number of species larger number of species as the Information, are the African and South American Continents with representative distribution at Amazon region, Cynometra In a ρ antropical genusthat occur In high forest but shows preference to low and umid lands, riversides, lackes, "Igarapés" and "várzeas". |
