Abstract: Lentinula raphanka (Basidiomycota, Marasmiaceae) has been found in the Amazonian region of Brazil for the first time. Sequencing of the LSU region of the nuclear ribosomal DNA confirms the identity of the species. Macro- and microscopic descriptions and illustrations are provided, and the American distribution of Lentinula species is summarized. © 2010. Mycotaxon, Ltd.
