Abstract: Corydalus batesii MacLachlan is widely distributed in the Amazon region, while Corydalus ignotus Contreras-Ramos was previously known only from its type locality in French Guiana. Both species are only known as adults. Here, we describe the larvae of both species and provide notes on observations and measurements of several aspects of the life his-tory of each species and of the adult behavior of C. batesii. Corydalus ignotus records presented herein are the first for this species in Brazil. ©2007 Magnolia Press.
