| Abstract: | Seven specimens of Dolichowirhius mediofasciatus MAHNERT (one female, two males and four tritonymphs) were collected, each attached to the abdomen of Platypus sp. (Platypodidae). Female beetles were caught with a Pennsylvania light trap, while males were collected with an attractionlinterception trap. Both were installed in the vicinityaf Manaus (Amazonas), from September 1987 until January 1990. |
