Contribuição ao conhecimento das espécies do Gênero Scipopus Enderlein, 1922. (Diptera - Micropezidae)

Abstract

The author begins the study of species of the genus Scipopus Enderlein 1922, showing the most important external morphology characters that differs it. A redescriptions of the species Scipopus erythrocephalus (Fabricius, 1805) and Scipopus diversus (Schiner, 1868), with drawings of the external morphology and the male and female genitalia, showing differential characters that permits to divide the species studied into 2 distincts groups.
