Management of production costs related to technology integration in the production of vegetable fibers and jute mallow

Abstract

The increased production of vegetable fibers due to higher speed in the production process caused by the insertion of technology to increase the dehulling stage with respect to improvement of the product, as well as the emergence of new cost producer requires an Amazonian river and accurate accounting control need to manage the maintenance of incomeproducing activity. This research aims to meet the costs of production of plant fibers from the cultivation of jute mallow and the traditional forms of production and technology in order to help the producer has full knowledge of their production costs and can control them, obtaining financial information required for planning activities and for good decision making. The methodology used in this study was a case study in an Amazonian community, a major producer of vegetable fiber, and was based on data obtained through questionnaires administered to the president of the community who is also a producer. As a result it was possible to meet the costs of two forms of production, traditional and technological, and it was observed that the traditional method was a negative result and the technological method, only the emergence of new cost, there was a positive result.
