Resumo
Com a presente espécie proposta sob o nome de Styrax discolor eleva-se para sete o número de taxas do gênero Styrax (Styracaceae), ocorrentes na Amazônia.
Abstract:
In this paper the author discribes a new species of Styrax (Styracaceae) from Amazonian region. Now, the number of species of that genus extend to 7, in this region. The new species S. discolor, among other characterics, differ mainly from the others amazonian species, in the height, size and two-colored aspect of the leaves.
